Tom Koelzer and Dave Ven Horst spent nearly two decades at one of the largest commercial real estate firms in the world. They kept seeing the same thing: tenants at the table with a broker who also represented their landlord.
In 2004 they left and built a firm with one rule. They haven’t represented a landlord since — 2,000+ office leases negotiated, every one of them for the tenant.
